My father Max Ward was in the RAAF, a radio technician who was at the first British atomic test, Operation Hurricane in the Monte Bello Islands.
He was in a plane that flew through the bomb cloud. I would like descendants in Australia to connect us via Facebook and this website to share their stories, build a history/record of our experiences so in the future we are able to get in touch easily.
We want an indication of the impact of the tests on Australian descendants
